 After encountering a few road blocks earlier this year, SDIA is in the early stages of planning a Mining Tour of Australia for April next year.
The SDIA Mining Tour will be designed to give industry participants first-hand knowledge of Australia’s mining sector at a macro level.
SDIA is in communication with a number of mining companies to arrange site visits to the following locations: Moranbah, Mt Isa/and or Argyle, Port Headland, Newman and Kalgoorlie/Ravensthorpe. Here you will see the mining of coal, nickel, iron ore, gold, uranium, salt and production of LNG and explosives.
Further details including costings and itinerary will be available in the near future.
