Why be a member of SDIA? Minimize

By becoming a Principal Member of SDIA, your organisation has a voice in the future direction of the industry.

Principal member firms can work with the SDIA to develop strategies that provide effective resolution of issues, particularly where Governments are involved.

The structure of SDIA enables large and small firms to influence views on institutional and retail client stockbroking issues.

Your membership will also help us build an even stronger and influential voice for the stockbroking industry.

SDIA has a network of committees and advisory panels that provide the direct link to the industry which ensures the association is focused on issues of importance to its members. Current Committees and Advisory Panels include; Institutional Broking, Retail Broking, Compliance & Regulation, On-line Broking, Trading, Research, Operations and Profession. As a Principal Member of SDIA you have opportunity to participate in these forums.

SDIA Affiliate Membership is open to organisations that do not qualify for SDIA Principal Membership. Your organisation would typically provide services to the industry such as legal, accounting, technology, education, training, research and information service.

Benefits of Affiliate Membership include having the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the issues facing the industry and in turn the needs of your current and potential customers or stakeholders. You also may wish to provide input on issues effecting the industry. This is facilitated via regular communications from SDIA, and involvement in seminars and conferences such as the Annual SDIA Conference.
