The SDIA Accreditation Program is specifically designed by and for the stockbroking industry. It is a "course in stockbroking" that also leads to individual membership of the SDIA and is a recognised stockbroking industry qualification.
The SDIA Advisory Group in conjunction with DeakinPrime (a Division of Deakin University) developed assessment materials combining the requirements of RG 146 with contextual relevance to the everyday activities of stockbrokers. The assessment largely centres on case studies of situations that could occur in your role as a stockbroking professional.
Benefits of completing the SDIA Accreditation Program
As well as meeting the ongoing requirements of ASIC RG 146, the SDIA Accreditation Program is an industry-established benchmark & curriculum specific to the stockbroking industry and is intended to meet ASIC Organisational Capacities Policy for Licensed Dealers and the wider training and education responsibilities of licensees outlined in FSRA for all securities representatives, retail and institutional.
